Schenley Park Pittsburgh Engagement Session

We couldn’t of had a more perfect Summer evening for Loren & Dennis’ Schenley Park Pittsburgh Engagement Session. I love each and every individual and couple that steps in front of my camera, but pretty often I get the chance to photograph a couple that just blows me away. Dennis & Loren are one of those couples. You can just tell how effortless and deep their love for one another is. They’ll say I DO in July and I couldn’t be happier for them. It was so much fun working with the both of them. I am still gushing over the photographs.

Schenley Park is such a versatile and beautiful location for Portrait and Engagement Sessions. My favorite part of the park is at the top of this hill. With gorgeous evening light and a hint of the Pittsburgh skyline, you get a little bit of nature and a little bit of city. I think we caught the perfect time of day with this session. I’m obsessed.

Since Schenley is located in Oakland, you also have other great locations nearby like the University of Pittsburgh Campus (check out Maddie & Morgan’s Session from there) and the infamous Mellon Institute Columns (which can be seen in Zoe & Jarrett’s Engagement Session). Another one of my favorite spots in Oakland is the Frick Fine Arts Building (which you can see in this Family Portrait Session). So, if you’re searching for a location for your Engagement Session, definitely consider all that Oakland has to offer.
