Grand Estate at Hidden Acres Wedding – Freeport, PA

I’m super excited to share images from this bea-u-t-i-ful wedding at The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres in Freeport, PA. I photographed this wedding alongside the wonderful Kate of Katelyn Cataldo Collections. Her and I make an amazing duo. I’m really looking forward to all of the weddings we photograph this year. I’m for-sure confident that we are going to kill it this season!

Some of my favorite moments from this wedding
Danielle & Jeffrey’s First Look – chosen for obvious reasons. First looks are seriously my fav. It’s a special moment where the bride and the groom decide to see themselves for the first time (usually before the ceremony). Their first look was so perfect. Danielle’s gown was stunning. So much so that it left Jeffrey speechless and grinning ear to ear.
The Hummingbird Moment – Okay, so this was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. During the reception, which was under a big, white tent, a hummingbird was captured underneath. He kept flying at the top of the tent trying to get free. I noticed the little guy early on, during cocktail hour. Not too long into the reception, I see the pour bird get so tired that it flies slowly to the ground. One of the bridesmaids actually picked it up – yes, picked up a hummingbird! – and let it go outside of the tent. Such a surreal moment as I don’t think I have ever seen a hummingbird sit still.
