A Behind-The-Scenes Look
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’ve been married to my husband for 8 years, and we’ve been together for a total of 16 - he is truly my person. We have a daughter who is our whole world, and watching her grow into her own little person has been the greatest joy of my life. I love nurturing her creativity, encouraging her imagination, and soaking up every season with her, knowing just how quickly these years pass.
Family
Creating is my favorite way to unwind. Coloring and bullet journaling are my go-to forms of self-care, especially after a long day. There’s something so calming about putting marker to paper, and I especially love coloring with alcohol markers (so much so that I even have a TikTok channel, @ShadedInJoy). I also love bullet journaling my reading - it’s the perfect blend of creativity, organization, and joy for me.

I’ve been a bookworm for as long as I can remember - always lost in a story, always carrying a book with me. Reading is truly in my blood; my grandfather owned a bookstore before he passed, and today my mom carries on that legacy by owning her own bookstore. Being surrounded by books feels like home. I love being part of my book club and getting lost in worlds of fantasy, romance, and science fiction - there’s nothing better than a good story and a cozy place to read.

Travel has always been a part of our love story. My husband and I have shared a deep wanderlust since the very beginning of our relationship, taking countless road trips together and chasing new places whenever we could. One of our favorite adventures was our 17-day honeymoon in a campervan, traveling all over the United States and soaking in the beauty of our national parks. Glacier National Park completely stole my heart and will forever be one of my favorite places on earth. Most recently, we’ve been able to share our love for exploring with our daughter, watching the world through her eyes in Acadia National Park in Maine -and that has been pure magic.
