Stylish, Authentic, and Timeless: Capturing Family Connection in a Modern Studio

Holiday sessions in a studio can feel traditional, but this studio holiday portrait session with the Baton-Soffietti family was anything but. This stylish family of four, regular clients of mine, brought energy, personality, and playful connection to every image. They prefer non-traditional holiday portraits, and their wardrobe choices reflected that perfectly—modern, chic, and full of personality. Coordinated colors and textures enhanced the session while letting their unique style shine.

The studio offered two beautiful environments. One side featured bright white walls with elegant wainscoting, perfect for a clean, airy aesthetic. The other side featured a black shiplap wall, creating moody and dramatic portraits. I love that this space gives the best of both worlds, allowing families to capture bright and elegant images as well as dark and moody ones. Transitioning between these two backdrops added variety and depth while keeping the session playful and relaxed.

As a studio holiday portrait photographer, I focus on capturing genuine interactions and real connections.
