Fall is one of my favorite times for family sessions, and this Hartwood Acres Family Portraits session with the Adams family was full of color, joy, and connection. This mother and her two children brought energy, warmth, and authenticity to every frame. Their vibrant outfits paired beautifully with the fall foliage, creating a timeless and visually rich collection of portraits. This session was a special trade with the mother, Jessi, who is a talented photographer herself. I first met her when I hired her to capture my daughter’s newborn portraits, which turned out incredible. Knowing her skills and artistry, it was such a treat to photograph her family and trust her with capturing moments I know she appreciates deeply. Transitioning between the mansion’s tree-lined paths, open lawns, and elegant stone features allowed me to highlight both the children’s playful personalities and the genuine bond between mother and kids.
