I photographed this milestone session inside Allure Loft using the same floral set created for my motherhood sessions. Holly Hannah Floral designed bright, custom arrangements that added energy and color to the studio. The flowers created a playful setting while still keeping the attention on my daughter, who had just turned six.
This session felt especially meaningful because I photographed my own child. Parents often assume they only need professional portraits during the baby and toddler years. After that, school pictures tend to replace intentional portrait sessions. School photos serve a purpose, but they move quickly and follow a strict format. Children stand in one spot, give a quick smile, and the session ends within minutes.
