North Park Engagement Session

I think Fall is my favorite time of year for engagement sessions. The cool, crisp air encourages couples to snuggle in closer. The colors of the trees are romantic and painterly. All together, they make for the dreamiest of combinations! Check out this gorgeous North Park Engagement Session. Kristen & Matt are getting married next July and I love that they picked a different time of year for their engagement session. North Park is a popular location among photographers. There are so many different areas that are scenic and perfect for photo sessions. One of my favorite areas, is right around the North Park Boathouse. Not only is it easy to find by GPS, but it yields spots around the lake, among the trees, and through the fields.

Kristen & Matt wanted to pay homage to their college where they met and fell in love – Allegheny  College. I loved that their section outfits were sweatshirts with the school’s logo. I thought this was a perfect and subtle way to incorporate that into their session. They also reenacted one of Kristen’s parent’s photos. I really enjoyed that part. This couple truly made the session their own.
